Tiffany Haddish revealed that she was involved in a scary car accident on her way to tape an episode of Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast.
After getting picked up from the scene of the crash by the 49-year-old actor, the 44-year-old stand-up comedian admitted to feeling a bit shaken up by the collision.
'I was by myself. I was trying to decide if I was going to act like I was f**ked up,' she joked.
'When the car spun around, I was sitting there. I was trembling a little bit, and I was like, "Where did my phone go?" Because it flew out of the holder, and it hit me in the arm and the leg.'
She continued: 'And I was like, where's the phone? And then I picked the phone up off the floor, and then I was like, let me try to get the car out of the middle of the road, and thank God nobody was coming from the other direction.'
This comes after Haddish accepted a plea deal of reckless driving in her California DUI case, three months after her arrest in Beverly Hills. Following her court appearance, she had her 2 misdemeanor DUI charges dropped and accepted a conviction of reckless driving and plead no contest to the traffic violation.

Although the Haunted Mansion star initially wanted to confront the party in the crash aggressively, Haddish says the man that got out of the car came up to her and asked: 'Are you okay?'
'He said, "Oh, s**t. I hit my favorite person,"' she told listeners.
'And I'm holding the phone, and I'm like, "Who do I call first? Who do I call first?"
'And I'm trembling, and I'm like, "Did I f**k this guy before? Do I know him?"... I'm just wondering, do I know him? And he kept saying are you alright? Are you good? And I rolled the window down and I said, "I guess, maybe."'
The Los Angeles native said after the accident that she was 'trembling' and called her half-sister, Tuesday English.
Eventually, Haddish realized she knew the other driver from working at The Comedy Store, a comedy club in West Hollywood.
After hearing the story of what happened, Shepard asked if she wanted him to drive her home and reschedule their interview.
'No, because I'm just going to sit around and cry,' she replied. 'I'm not bleeding, I'm not broken. I can still talk and communicate.'

'Ms. Haddish has agreed to a simple vehicle code violation – not driving under the influence, which has been dismissed -- and looks forward to this being behind her,' Tiffany's attorney, Alex Spiro, told the outlet.
On November 24, she was found asleep behind the wheel of her car, which was still running and in the middle of the busy Beverly Drive, in Beverly Hills.
Following her November arrest, hours after her comedy show at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach on Thanksgiving, she vowed to 'get help.'
While speaking about how she plans to move forward from the incident, the star told Entertainment Tonight that 'this will never happen again.'
'I'm going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,' she pledged.
The actress revealed that she has remained 'in good spirits' after the incident, and according to the outlet, 'complimented the Beverly Hills Police Department for their professionalism and how they handled the situation.'

In January 2022, she was arrested under a similar circumstance for a DUI in Peachtree City, Georgia - and made a similar joke while discussing the incident with Jimmy Fallon.
At the time, the Night School actress was found 'dozing in the driver's seat' of her car, according to TMZ.
Officers told the site they believed that she had been smoking marijuana.
Soon after, her mug shot was released, showing the star smiling and makeup free.
She addressed the arrest days later during an appearance on The Tonight Show, telling host Fallon: 'I can say this, Jimmy … I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four. In uniform.'
She continued: 'And now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!'
Haddish had split from rapper and actor Common three months before.
