Liam Payne is reportedly set to be honoured with a special tribute at this year's Brit Awards.
The singer died in October last year aged 31, after he fell from a third-floor hotel balcony in Argentina.
It's said that show bosses are in the early stages of putting plans in place to pay an 'unforgettable' tribute to the star, who had attended attended the event several times over the years both as a solo artist and part of One Direction.
Meanwhile, the tribute could see Liam's former One Direction bandmates - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - reunite on stage for the first time in 10 years.
They last performed together in March 2015 in Hong Kong during their On The Road Again Tour.
A source told The Sun: 'The tribute to Liam at this year’s awards show has caused a real buzz and speculation that the remaining One Direction bandmates could finally come back together again on stage.

'It would be an entirely fitting way to honour Liam and talks are already under way about how to make this segment of the Brits unforgettable.'
The music insider added that the Strip That Down hitmaker 'loved' the annual music event having both attended and performed in the past and will 'forever be part of the show’s history'.
They went on: 'It’s still in the very early stages of preparation and the finer details are still being worked out, with official approaches to be made in coming weeks, but there are set to be a mixture of performances, tasteful photo and video montages and a live orchestra.'
They remarked that in addition to One Direction, other artists may also contribute to remembering Liam on the night.

It comes as Liam was honoured with a plaque on Celvedon Pier in Somerset, following his death in October 2024.

Taking to X, formerly known as, the official account for Clevedon Pier shared an image of the plaque alongside lyrics of his part in the song.
The plaque reads: 'Remembering Liam Payne – One Direction. 29.08.1993 – 16.10.2024.
'If you're lost just look for me, you'll find me in the region of the summer stars," taken from the bands song, Walking in the Wind.'
The account captioned the post: 'We are pleased to share that there is now a plaque in memory of Liam Payne on Clevedon Pier.
'The beautiful plaque is inscribed with lyrics from one of Liam's favourite songs. @onedirection recorded their award winning video You & I on #ClevedonPier.'
Elsewhere, One Direction re-released their 2013 documentary This Is Us in cinemas for one night earlier this month, with the band donating the proceeds to charities in honour of the late Liam.
Niall, Zayn, Louis and Harry were left devastated when their bandmate and friend fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Argentina on October 16.

The doc, which followed the band on tour, was shown in Odeon cinemas with all ticket sales going to mental health charities MIND, SAMH and AWARE NI.
The late singer was candid about his mental health struggles and substance abuse issues, admitting to having 'severe suicidal thoughts' and a heavy drug use during his time in the chart topping band.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Odeon wrote: 'By popular demand, and in tribute to the late Liam Payne, we're bringing One Direction: This is Us back to the big screen January 14'.
'We'll be donating all ticket profits from this screening to the mental health awareness charities MIND, SAMH and AWARE NI'.
