Stunning pro golfer and TikTok star Hailey Ostrom details terrifying stalker ordeal after man turned up to her home
Golf influencer Hailey Ostrom has opened up on a scary situation that saw a stalker show up at her home.
Ostrom is a professional golfer who has also amassed 927,000 followers by posting glamorous golf content to her Instagram page and another 586,600 on TikTok.
However, the 30-year-old has also experienced the negative side to fame after going through a terrifying stalker ordeal.
Ostrom took to Instagram to share a video with her thousands of followers in which she detailed the scary situation.
Ostrom explained that a man had initially showed up at a golf course that she regularly frequents looking for her. The club contacted Ostrom to inform her but she didn't recognize his name and brushed it off as a follower.
However, the situation escalated Friday night when the individual turned up at her home, having 'abused his job' to obtain her address.

'It was a very scary situation for me and I have never had anything like that happen before,' Ostrom told her followers.
She messaged her parents to call the police before the man eventually left of his own free will without making any threats.
It later emerged that he had fallen victim to a scam. He had been messaging a fake profile posing as Ostrom, which had asked him to send $50,000 before going dark on him.
The man had been left furious after the account stopped messaging, leading him to track down Ostrom, who he believed he had been communicating with.
'As you can imagine, I don't know his intentions and because of some of the situations that I've had in my past with some followers, I was very skeptical and scared and not going to take any risks,' Ostrom added.
Ostrom said that she has repeatedly reported 'hundreds' of fake accounts posing as her to Instagram and TikTok but cautioned her fans as she claimed the platforms had done little to prevent the issue.
She warned her followers about potential scams, insisting that she would never message her fans from other accounts nor ask her followers for money.
'I never want to feel scared or feel like my privacy has been taken away ever again,' she continued. 'So I am taking the necessary precautions to make sure that I am even safer in my own home.

'I really appreciate all of my followers who respect my privacy and who don't do anything crazy like that.'
Ostrom received countless messages of support in her comment section, including a reply from fellow golf influencer Paige Spiranac.
'I don’t know how many restraining orders or events like this need to happen before the platforms start taking this seriously,' Spiranac wrote.
Spiranac and Ostrom previously came to virtual blows when they had a very public online argument over Tiger Woods.
The feud resulted in Spiranac, golf's biggest influencer with four million followers, blocking Ostrom. However, it appears the pair have since cleared the air.
Ostrom, who is married to Olympic snowboarder Louie Vito, turned pro in 2018 and has previously played on the Cactus Tour.
