Brad Pitt sports a bushy silver beard and a bucket hat as he steps out after finalising eight-year divorce battle with Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt cut a relaxed figure as he stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday just weeks after finalising his divorce with Angelina Jolie.

The Hollywood icon, 61, completed his split from the Oscar-winning actress, 49, on New Year's Eve after eight years of bitter legal disputes.

After officially starting a new chapter as a divorcee, Brad was also sporting a new look - having grown out a silver bushy beard.

Brad - who was clean-shaven while filming the movie F1 last year - appeared to be going incognito as he donned mirrored sunglasses and a white bucket hat.

He added to the look in a green work shirt paired with quilted olive sweatpants and a black Vampire's Wife tote bag with his initials on.

While Brad is no doubt glad to have settled his long-running divorce battle, his ex is still no doubt on his mind as disputes over a French chateau and vineyard the pair owned rages on.

Brad and Angelina share three biological children and three adopted children and had been dating for 10 years before getting married in 2014.

Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016 – after just two years of marriage.

The pair later released a joint statement declaring that they would keep all divorce proceedings private for the sake of their children.

They said: 'The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.

'The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.'

They were declared legally single in 2019 but have been locked in a lengthy battle over custody and legal issues over their French estate and winery, dubbed the 'War of the Rosés'.

The pair continue to butt horns over the vineyard, which is considered one of the country's top wine producers, after Brad alleged Angelina sold her $62 million (£51m) stake of the winery to the Stoli Group, famed for its Stolichnaya vodka, without his approval.

The former couple, best known as 'Brangelina', share three biological children - Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 - as well as their adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 19.

Angelina's divorce lawyer James Simon told DailyMail.com that his client is 'relieved this one part is over.'

'Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,' he said.

'More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family', Mr Simon added.

Since their parents' bitter split, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne have all dropped Pitt from their last name. It has been reported that Maddox and Pax do not talk to their father - while it is believed that Knox and Vivienne still speak with the Seven star, though they have not been pictured with him in several years.

It has since been alleged that the couple and their six children had taken a private plane days prior to her filing, on which Brad had become physically abusive.

Angelina claimed in court filings that Brad's 'history of physical abuse' started 'well before' the plane incident. The Maleficent actress also said her ex tried to force her to sign a $8.5m (£6.8m) NDA to cover up his 'years of abuse'.

Brad has always denied the claims of abuse and was cleared by law enforcement following an investigation.

The Moneyball star has recently moved on with Ines and the pair were initially seen spending time with one another during a November 2022 Bono concert.

The two live together, it has been claimed.

DailyMail.com previously revealed that Ines has made it clear to her friends, family, and work contacts that her relationship with Brad is off-limits for discussion.

The entrepreneur even required her business contacts to sign non-disclosure agreements to ensure that no details about her personal life are leaked.

Ines reportedly takes these precautions to avoid giving the actor any impression that she's using their relationship to gain fame.

Now the actor is said to be looking to share his future with the brunette beauty as another source stated in early December: 'Brad is interested in getting married again, and it is all thanks to Ines.

'The thing about her is that he is so comfortable with her that it just feels right with her, and he would be more than OK to make it official.'
