Coronavirus Prevention
With no definitive cure in sight for this infectious...
COVID-19 is a new viral infection which can spread, directly or indirectly, from one person to another through respiratory droplets. It can cause mild cold-like symptoms as well as severe pneumonia requiring ventilator support. The death rate of this disease is said to be 3.4 per cent, according to the World Health Organization.
With no definitive cure in sight for this infectious disease, it is important to get back to basics and focus on everyday prevention actions including washing your hands with soap and clean, running water for at least 20 seconds, using a tissue or handkerchief while coughing and sneezing, staying at home if you have even mild flu or cold-like symptoms, and avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth.

3. Cover your mouth while coughing, sneezing or yawning. Encourage others to do the same, even if they are not sick. Also, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces including your phones, laptops, tablets, tabletops, doorknobs, handles etc.
