Kelly Reilly seemingly hints at Yellowstone spinoff as she teases 'whatever the future holds...'

Kelly Reilly took a moment to acknowledge the Yellowstone series finale via social media on Sunday.

The 47-year-old actress, who played Beth Dutton in the show, paid tribute in a thoughtful message and seemingly referenced the recently confirmed spinoff.

'Whatever the future holds this is the ending of the show we have been making for the past 7 years,' she wrote.

It comes amid a report that there will be an offshoot featuring her and onscreen husband Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler.

'Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with over the seasons,' Kelly's post continued.

She gushed, 'I have made true lifelong friends. The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit. It changed me. It lit me up.'

Reilly said embodying Beth 'challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it.'

She added a personal thank you to the show's creator as she continued, 'For Taylor Sheridan who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways I got to feel on fire as an actor. Thank you Taylor.'

And turning her attention to viewers, she said, 'Thank you the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us. We really cared about making something special for you all.

'Enjoy tonight, get your tissues and your [whiskey glass emoji].'

The English entertainer began her caption by stating that she is 'deep into another role at the moment about another land worth fighting for in the UK.'

However, she noted, 'But across the pond the finale is happening tonight of the show.'

The forthcoming spinoff series will be led creatively by Sheridan, who wrote every episode of the hit ranch drama and directed the first season.

Sources told Deadline the new show 'will likely feature' other 'cast members from the mothership.'

In March, when asked about the possibility of a sixth season, Reilly told RadioTimes: 'I just care about finishing [Yellowstone] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it… I’m sort of prepping for that now, [and] that’s my tunnel-vision thing that I care about most.'

'And what goes on beyond that? There are discussions, you know. Don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense,' she continued.

Season five, part two, also known as 5B, returned on November 10 and is understood to be Yellowstone‘s last installment.

In June, Kevin Costner, who played the show's patriarch John Dutton, confirmed that he was done with Yellowstone for good.

'Hi everyone. I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon and doing all the things that's required, and thinking about Yellowstone — that beloved series that I love, that I know you love — I just realized that I'm not going to be able to continue Season 5b or into the future,' the 69-year-old actor wrote in an Instagram caption.
