Apple Martin has broken her silence on claims about her 'mean girl' behavior after she was filmed rolling her eyes at her debutante ball date last month.

The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay's Chris Martin made her high society debut at the Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris but the nepo-baby, 20, was accused of trying to hog a camera and giving an apparent withering look to date Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.

In a new TikTok video filmed with two friends, Apple jokes about the incident by miming to a voiceover saying: 'I mean... I don't know how anyone has a problem with us.

As her friend mouths 'we are such a delight we are two of the funniest girls', Apple stands behind her and gives her a dirty look.

The clip continues: 'And I know us offline, when I tell you there aren't two more generous charitable kind...

The star was also seen drinking what appeared to be a glass of white wine although it is unclear where the video was filmed. In America the drinking age is 21 while in the UK it is 18.

Apple was among 20 young women who were presented at the glitzy event held in the $1,000-a-night Hotel Shangri-La.

However, many people were left shocked by Apple's behavior after a clip emerged of her stealing the spotlight from another girl who was having her picture taken.

The other debutante was seen taking her turn posing for the camera when Apple sashayed from behind and sabotaged the shot.

Posing with her hands on her hips, Apple edged her way into the frame - forcing the other girl out.

The debutante could do nothing but look on with an awkward laugh, as Apple proceeded to pout and pose for several photos.

Eventually, she stepped out of the way - almost cutting off another debutante waiting for her turn for a picture in the process.

The move did not go down well on social media after the footage, taken by French outlet Paris Match, was shared on TikTok.

'How Obnoxious and entitled she is,' one viewer wrote.

'Oh wow, why did Apple do that? Let the other girl have a moment,' another added.

'Not a good behavior for such an event,' a third person agreed, while another described it as 'giving Regina George' in reference to the notorious queen bee in the movie Mean Girls.

However, not everyone was bothered and some even suggested that Martin and the other debutante know each other.

'That looked obnoxious, but she probably was joking,' one person said.

'Oh gosh they're obviously friends and the girl in black was stepping out of frame anyways. She's acting her age,' another added.

Apple's mom has previously praised her daughter's 'sense of entitlement,' saying it helps her break down gender inequalities.

'They have, and I mean this word in the best possible way, a sense of "entitlement" that's beautiful,' Gwnnie told People, talking about her daughter and her friends.

'It's not spoiled, [they] are here for what the boys are going to get too,' she explained. 'I find it very uplifting and heartening that we all seem to be going in this direction together.'

Gwynnie joined her daughter at the prestigious ball along with her ex-husband Chris and their son Moses, 18, as well as her mom Blythe Danner.

Debutantes on the guest list included European royalty as well as the daughters of A-list celebrities.

The family joined an exclusive list of attendees who are all personally invited by the ball's host, Ophélie Renouard.

Renouard invites her guests based on their appearance, intelligence, and family connections.

The event is billed as a charity fundraiser and will benefit two entities connected with children's health, according to Hello!

A source in Paltrow's camp later told DailyMail.com that Apple is a 'girls' girl' not a 'mean girl.'

'Apple's more playful and fun and she's really a total girls' girl.

'She would never mean to take the spotlight from anyone, that was not her intention. To characterize her as a mean girl is very untrue.

'She really had such a wonderful evening and I feel bad that this is even taking away from that because it was such an uplifting evening for her and the other girls.'

The Vanderbilt student went viral over footage said to show her making a brazen play for a photographer's attention while another attendee had her photo taken.

Later, Martin was snapped rolling her eyes at date von Donnersmarck.

But the source insisted to DailyMail.com that Martin has a 'good rapport' with her aristocratic escort.

'They had cameras on them all day long and they were playing around,' they said.
