Yungblud reveals his surprising bond with a music legend that started with what he thought was a spam call
Yungblud has revealed his secret bond with Roger Daltrey.
The singer, 27, has struck up a friendship the Who rocker Roger, 80, and revealed that it all began when he got a call he initially thought was a spam number.
He told The Sun: 'My phone kept ringing and it was a weird number so I ignored it.
'But it kept going so I answered and this man said, 'Hello, it's Roger'.'
'I was like, 'Roger f******who?' And he said: "It's me, Roger Daltrey, I'm just on a ladder fixing my roof'."
The Breakdown hitmaker was taken aback to have the surprise phone call with the music legend, and was even more surprised when Roger invited him to go fly fishing with him.

Meanwhile, Yungblud - whose real name is Dominic Harrison - revealed that his fourth studio album is in the works.
The last time he released a record was in 2022, and the self-titled album spawned the single The Funeral.
He described his new one as being a 'f****** rock opera' and that much of it was inspired by his Bludfest festival that took place earlier this year.
He made a point of showcasing up-and-coming stars at the event, which was held in Milton Keynes.
He noted that staring out into the crowds of 30,000 people made him realise it was time for his 'next adventure' within his career.
