This Morning viewers 'switched off in record time' on Tuesdsay after being left stunned by a very unique guest on the show.

Hosts Dermot O'Leary and Josie Gibson welcomed Dave Brooker and his best friend, who happens to be a turkey called Trouble Version 2 or T2 for short.

In solidarity with his animal bestie, Dave has sworn off turkey for Christmas, adding it would be like eating his dog.

He joined the hosts at a poultry-free Christmas table as he urged everyone give up the bird at their festive feast.

However, not everyone was impressed with the opening segment, as viewers rushed to X to give their verdict.

They penned: 'I can’t believe how stupid this show has become.. #thismorning.'

Later on in Tuesday's instalment, Martin Lewis joined Dermot and Josie to talk about his new ITV show - How To Win At Boardgames.

The money expert is utterly obsessed with board games and even proposed to his wife using Scrabble.

In the new programme, he set himself a festive mission: giving viewers the best chances of beating their family and friends this Christmas 'just like he does every year'.

However, the segment got pretty awkward when it came to demonstrating his skills.

Martin took on Josie for a game of giant Connect 4 in the studio - and hilariously lost, which viewers found hysterical.

They took to X to quip: 'Martin Lewis having to fabricate winning at connect 4 because he lost and he's got a programme coming out called "how to win at board games #ThisMorning.'

'Let Martin win or we have to cancel tonight’s how to win show #thismorning.'

'Martin is that guy who doesn’t like losing #thismorning.'

'Martin got beat by Josie..let that sink in #Thismorning.'
