The news comes after Post Malone appeared to confirm he was playing Coachella 2025 after his new tour dates -April 13 and April 20 - coincided with the festival - which takes place yearly in Indio, California.

Coachella has not yet officially unveiled the headliners - with the announcement usually taking place four months prior to the festival.

After Travis' appearance at Coachella in 2017, he was slated to perform at Coachella 2020 but the global COVID-19 pandemic led to the festival to be canceled that year.
Coachella was also canceled in 2021 due to the pandemic, but returned in 2022.
He was set to headline in 2022 but he was removed from the lineup after the tragic events at his Astroworld concert in Houston, Texas on November 5, 2021 - where 10 people died.
Eight people died at Travis' show, with the those lost ranging in age from 14 to 27, with two more people dying in the hospital in the days that followed.
The concert had a crowd of 50,000 people with a surge toward the stage happening at 9:38 pm local time in Houston.
Local firefighters and police called it a 'mass casualty' at that time, which took place 32 mins after Travis' set began.
During the surge, eight fans including a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were crushed to death.
Several concert-goers suffered cardiac arrests and one person, a police officer, was stabbed with a hypodermic needle.

Travis continued to perform up to 30 minutes as people were killed and with the crowd chanting 'stop the show.'
Scott, who said he was 'devastated' about the deaths and couldn't 'imagine anything like this happening,' has twice been convicted for encouraging fans to jump security barriers and rush the stage at previous concerts.

However, those two dates have since been deleted from his official website tour schedule.
