Barron Trump rides his personalized Mercedes and poses with mom Melania on a tiger in throwback footage

Donald and Melania Trump's only child Barron is seen driving his very own personalized Mercedes in throwback footage from 14 years ago.

The video, which was filmed in the spring of 2010, shows Trump's youngest kid, then four, trying on a very expensive-looking gold watch and riding a gigantic stuffed white tiger as he participates in a photo shoot with his mother.

The Entertainment Tonight clip begins with a young Barron dressed in a smart white shirt and matching shorts as he climbs into his red car, which comes complete with a personalized plate, as he reverses the toy vehicle across the marble floor.

It then cuts to Barron parked up in front of an ornate huge gold desk, which Melania is sat at dressed in a chic black suit and matching high heels as she poses for photographs.

Barron appears oblivious to the constant clicks of the camera but shouts: 'Help!' as Melania quickly jumps out of her seat and starts pushing him around the room in his mini Mercedes.

In the next few scenes, Barron is dressed in a black suit, complete with a white shirt and black tie, as Melania looks super glamorous in a floaty asymmetrical dress and gold heels as they perch atop the giant white tiger.

The mother-and-son duo appear to be in the living room, which is filled with cream-colored sofas, and matching cream and gold armchairs as well as fancy chandeliers and glass top tables.

As Melania attempts to control her son for the sake of the photo shoot, Barron cheekily tells her to 'get off' the tiger as he tells her: 'Your house is that way!'

Trump then enters the room and remarks: 'Wow, what a nice picture that is, I don't wanna interrupt that picture... that's a great picture.'

Moments later, he attempts to discipline his youngest child as he tells him: 'Barron, be a good boy. Come on, you're almost finished, be good, hug mommy like you love her, show her how much you love her.'

During a filmed interview, the businessman gushes about Melania's role as a mother and tells the reporter: 'She's a great mom. She's a really loving, beautiful mom and there's nothing more important than her son.'

Trump goes on to say that he 'appreciates' his older children more since Barron was born and also reveals whether or not he and Melania have any plans to expand their brood.

'I mean, it's always possible. It certainly is possible,' he says when asked, but Melania has a slightly different response.

'Well, I say I have two kids... I have a big boy, Donald, and I have a little boy, Barron, so my hands are full now especially with the business that I've started, the schedule is really, really busy,' she said.

She then adds: 'I never say never, but for now... sometimes you don't sleep enough and you just go, everything is a balancing act and everything comes naturally then.

'First role, for me, is being a mommy and a wife and then a businesswoman because Barron still needs me, he's only four years old and I want to be there for him.'

Later on in the video, Melania gives the reporter a tour of their home and reveals that Barron has an entire floor to himself, where he can partake in his 'messy' playtime.

When asked how she ensures that little Barron doesn't get his 'sticky fingers' everywhere, Melania replied: 'Well, he doesn't do that kind of projects here. He has a whole third floor big enough for him to all his projects up there.'

'So here, he has his Mercedes and he's running around and driving around. We play here but the messy projects, they stay up in the third floor,' she added.

The throwback clip comes just days after Melania was mocked for 'smothering' her son as she prepares to split her time between New York and the White House Washington, D.C. to be a 'full-time mom' following Trump's presidential win.

The 54-year-old wife of the incumbent president is reportedly trying to stay away from the limelight during her husband's second term, with many insiders claiming Melania will take on a 'part-time' First Lady role.

Melania has been nearly invisible for the entirety of the 2024 race and it seems as though her reluctance to a life of politics will continue into the President-elect's second term.

She seems to be looking to steer clear of the mayhem surrounding D.C., with reports she'll only be making occasional visits to the White House.

After Donald is inaugurated in January, Melania will be splitting her time between Florida and Manhattan, with her spending the majority of her time in the Big Apple, where Barron is attending college

Although the former model is shying away from her duties as First Lady, she will be occupied being a full-time mom to their son, who is enrolled at New York University's Stern School of Business.

While her 18-year-old may want the run of Manhattan, Melania seems to be keeping her son on a tight leash, a move that has sparked a wave of backlash from people who say she needs to 'cut the umbilical cord.'

Barron was mostly recently seen on stage with his family at Mar-a-Lago on Election Night, as his dad accepted his victory in the 2024 presidential race against Democrat Kamala Harris

While on stage, Barron was standing right at the front, near his father - a theme that seems to be consistent with how the family feels about him.

After analyzing photos of the youngster throughout the years, body language expert Judi James has determined that Barron is the apple of his parents' eyes.

James told DailyMail.com exclusively that over the years, Donald and Melania have used 'very similar-looking' body language displays when it comes to their son.

'Their trait of showering him with kisses seems mutual and Barron's responses suggest this isn't just performative signaling for the cameras,' James claimed.

'He looks used to all the signs of besotted affection and attention, while his parents appear to be happy to show he is the center of their universe,' she added.
