Jeff Goldblum's young children are already selecting the high-value items from his closet they want to inherit for when he passes.

The stylish Wicked actor, 72, shares sons Charlie, nine, and River, seven, with his wife Emilie Livingston, 41, and revealed that they've already taken an interest in his fashionable ways.

Speaking about their keen eye for his luxury belongings, Jeff shared: 'We've got two little boys, Charlie and River… and in fact, they go through my closet and go, "Dada!

"When you die, can I have this? Can I have that?"

'So, we have that conversation. It doesn't seem to be any big deal to them, at least.'

He continued to InStyle: 'So, I like the idea of possibly having them [be] the recipients of a Cartier watch a piece.

'And here's the other inheritable Rolex watch. It's a real Rolex watch, but it's customized.'

Jeff became a dad later in life, welcoming his first son Charlie when he was 62.

He and Emilie dated for about three years, beginning in 2011, before deciding to tie-the-knot at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles in November 2014.

'It's amazing,' he said of being a parent.

'Every emotion comes up, and you are forced to examine everything that you model and could be better at,' he added to The Independent in August.

'It's a great task and opportunity.'

In May, Jeff said that he doesn't want his children to rely on his estimated $40 million fortune once they become adults.

During an appearance on the Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast, Goldblum said he wanted his kids to be able to find their own jobs.

'Now that I'm raising kids, I'm no conventionalist, but I know the system that we're in, and I think sooner than later, I don't want to scare them, they should figure out... but hey, you know, you've got to row your own boat,' he explained.

'It's an important thing to teach kids. I'm not going to do it for you. And you're not going to want me to do it for you.'

Jeff continued: 'You've got to figure out how to find out what's wanted and needed and where that intersects with your love and passion and what you can do.

'And even if it doesn't, you might have to do that anyway.'
