Pink called her husband Carey Hart an 'idiot' for signing up for a reality TV show.
The 45-year-old pop superstar has been married to former professional freestyle motocross competitor Carey, 49, since 2006.
She was initially a little shocked that he had agreed to appear on the upcoming season of the military series Special Forces: World's Toughest Test but then decided to support him.
Asked about his wife's three-word reaction, he told TooFab: 'The first words were "You're an idiot!" I hear that a lot. It's nothing new. But she knows my mentality and my personality.
'And she was like, "Look, if you're going to do it, I support it. And go kick a**!"'
Carey - who has Willow, 13, as well as seven-year-old Jameson with the So What hitmaker - added that while he has had a 'very successful' career, he hasn't been able to 'challenge' himself for years so now sees this as the new chance to do that.

He said: 'I've had a very successful career. I'm in my super extreme twilight of my career.
'I'm lucky enough to still do it. But I haven't had a chance to really push and challenge myself since probably my early 30s.
'I play inside of this pond that is my job in as safe a way as I can. And I wanted to have an experience to go out and put it on the line and give 100% at something and completely immerse myself. And this was that opportunity.'
The sports star noted that if his wife were to take up a place on the tough challenge show, she would likely do very well.
He said: 'I feel like she would kill it. She ... Let me choose my words wisely here. She would absolutely kill it because she is physical and coordinated enough to. But I don't see her doing any of these things.
'That's my politically correct answer!'
Special Forces pits 16 celebrity contestants against each other as they take on the same challenges the military's Special Forces face.
Premiering on January 8, the two-hour episodes will see the recruits training in Wales, where the British Special Forces Selection occurs.
