But many of her Hollywood pals have now rushed to her defense after a series of nasty trolls critiqued her physique in the comments.
Sydney shared screenshots of some of the nasty messages to her Instagram on Saturday, followed by some videos and images of her working out.
Some of the unkind messages said things like, 'She needs to lose a few pounds,' and, 'Looking a little chunky.'
She responded by posting multiple clips that showed her in the gym training, and immediately, stars like Lili Reinhart, Kesha, and Glen Powell took to the comment section to stick up for her.
'It’s always wild to see people publicly out-themselves as pieces of s**t with comments like that,' Riverdale star Lili wrote.
'You look incredible and your dedication to your project is very inspiring.'

'You’re such a badass. This movie is gonna be [fire],' Glen commented, referring to her upcoming role in the upcoming untitled David Michôd biopic about boxer Christy Martin, which Sydney is set to star in.
'The thing is these people would never say it in person. Too scared. But if they ever did? Best believe it’s hands,' actress Isabela Merced added.
'F**k yes go off Syd,' Lukas Gage said.
'Very sad, very bitter human beings,' British TV star Vicky Pattison chimed in.
Sasha Pieterse, Sofia Carson, Caylee Cowan, Madison Bailey, Madelyn Cline, Phoebe Dynevor, and Rachel Brosnahan, among others, also showed their support.

Photographers caught Sydney soaking up the sun in a purple-patterned bikini on Wednesday.
The Euphoria alum was spotted resting on a lounge chair, and at one point, she also took a quick dip in a nearby swimming pool.
Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and swept up into a messy up bun to prevent any loose strands from falling onto her face.
She opted for minimal accessories, and added a pair of mini earrings as well as fashionable, black shades.
